Huggrz Boot Wraps Cream Sweater Boot CoverWe were thrilled to be included in the Boutique-on-Feet blog post about this fall’s hottest boot trend along with the Muk Luk boot sweaters and boot covers. The review featured a picture of our popular Huggrz Cream Knit Sweater boot wrap. From the review entitled A Boot Makeover:

I recently heard about this new trend that I am absolutely loving – boot covers or “boot sweaters”, as they are often called.  Boot covers come in a variety of yarns, fabrics and patterns, that can turn any ordinary boot in to something new and extraordinary.  What a great way to add to your selection of boots, without even having to spend the money on a whole new pair of boots!  Let me tell you . . . I thinks this idea is simply, FABULOUS!

Huggrz Boot Wraps founder, Deb Miller, interviewed in My Handmade Addiction

Posted on: June 6th, 2011 by Hugrz

Earlier this year, Deanna, author of the blog, My Handmade Addiction, interviewed Deb Thelen Miller, inventor of the Huggrz Boot Wraps.  Deanna is devoted to buying handmade, organic and health conscious products whenever possible and when she stumbled upon Huggrz Boot Wraps in Olivers Trends, she had to find out more about the faux fur boot covers that are being exclusively made in Michigan. Below is an excerpt of the interview:

My Handmde Addiction (MHA): For those who aren’t familiar with Huggrz, please tell us what they are.

DM (Deb Miller): Huggerz Boot Wraps are a cover for your boots that make them look like a totally different pair of boots. They do not just look like something added to the leg of the boot.

MHA: If you had a tagline for Huggerz what would it be?

DM: Our tag line is “Wrap your boots to suit your moods.”

MHA: How and where did you come up with the idea for Huggerz?

DM: I was in a hockey rink and my feet were freezing. I was wearing boots and wool socks, but not the super warm shearling style boots. I knew then that I needed to invest in a pair, but when I started shopping, I could not decide what style to buy. I loved the ones with the fur. I loved the ones with the knit. I loved the patterned ones. But, I could not buy 3 or 4 different pairs, and I hated to spend all that money and be “stuck” with one look. That is when the idea hit me.
